![]() ![]() I apologize for dragging this out so long, but I have a mission in my mind now that I can't fall back on. Maybe when I get some cash I'll go out and buy one of these fancy UPS's supported under the Business Edition. I tried to trick their Windows 98/Me version into running in compatibility mode, but it seems Powerchute Plus doesn't handle USB connections, only serial connections (which I hear you can make a custom cable for). However, if you look over here it mentions some magical "PowerChute plus 5.2.1 for Windows 2000" that exists somewhere. ![]() Oh, and by the way azn-1337, it doesn't appear that there is a version of Powerchute Plus on their site that works with windows 2000 (which is what I need). I guess that little "CS" must be the deciding factor. In the help file it does not mention "Back-UPS CS". I gave that a try a little while ago, and I couldn't for the life of me get Powerchute to find my UPS. Edit - Note that the documentation says it supports "Any Back-UPS, Back-UPS Pro, or PowerStack", so I don't see why yours wouldn't be supported. ![]()
